Mastering new skills
Today was a new kind of day for us. Until now I've been working
at home while my husband
ran around after Nicolaus in between his studio hours. But starting today
Kevin works for the man. It's a huge adjustment, but we're pretty
excited about it. The bohemian artist lifestyle is wonderful and everything,
but the man will give us health insurance starting November 1.
So! The pictures I'm posting are kinda oogy, but they're special because
I took them on our first day Nicolaus and I spent by ourselves. As you
can see, first we learned how to step up on a stool and wash our hands.
After that he wanted to floss so I let him. Then once our hands and teeth
were all nice and clean, we tromped outside in the mud and rain to wash
all that pesky cleanliness off.
