My husband’s father’s sister’s daughter’s daughter

We want to adopt this little girl. I mean, technically she isn’t up for adoption but you know. She’s living with her grandparents, and even though the situation isn’t perfect they do adore her and take good care of her and say they really, really want her to stay with them permanently. Selfish jerks.

  2. Rachel Says:

My geeky husband assures me that she’s officially your husband’s “first-cousin-once-removed,” which, I guess, makes her your first-cousin-once-removed-in-law.

    She’s very cute. :)

Wait. You want to adopt her so that the fortune she makes as a child model will fund your artistic endeavors until they take off and make you all rich, right? She’s a beautiful girl, and very photogenic. It could work! :-b

  4. Squirl Says:

She is a cutie. It seems funny to think of you guys having a daughter.

If they can’t keep her, and YOU can’t keep her, we’ll TOTALLY take her. And keep her forever, in the Wilds of Idahoâ„¢. We’ve always needed a girl around here. And she’s kyooooot.

Rachel’s geeky husband is absolutely correct.

Yes, I understand that makes me geeky, too.

    She’s a cutie!

Wow, great pics! You need to get prints of these pics for our in-laws! (as in the whole family of them) I know they always prefer the obiviously posed pictures - looking directly in the camera and showing as many teeth as possible in some resemblance of a smile - but seriously these are the best pictures I have ever seen of her because they capture her personality too :-)

I understand totally. I have already told my daughter that I plan to adopt you and all your kith and kin. I let her know that luckily you would be a kick-a## sister, but even without that my plans are firm. Of course, I was meaning to mention it to you as soon as I got around to it. (Will you be needing your own bedroom?) Snicker, snicker. I just got a flash of your imagination arcing in on comments like, “OK, boys, I am just being way out of line, so I am sending myself to my room until my attitude improves.” Sounds as good as cheesecake.

Just, wow. She’s an angel from one of those renaissance paintings or something. Beautiful. But it also looks like she’s got a pair of strong arms on her, and I can imagine her kicking butt.

Just to clarify …. my understanding is that the car actually caught on fire. Hard not to put a dramatic spin on that one but where there is smoke there’s … oh well…you were there. Great job on the evacuation. Fuego Fuego.
